The role of a lifeguard is about so much more than simply rescuing people from the water. Lifeguards respond to calls for first aid, including everything from heart attacks to minor cuts and bruises. We can't all remember to take a first aid kit to the beach with us. So it's good to know that RNLI lifeguards have all the basics close to hand, in a lightweight bag that's easy to grab on the move.
"The first aid trauma bag helps us store essential medical equipment for basic life support."
Andy Thomas, Area Lifeguard Supervisor, Kerrier
