The RNLI rescues an average of 21 people every day. Without the support of the public, this would not be possible, as the charity receives no funding from the UK government.
RNLI crew members at more than 230 lifeboat stations depend on their training and equipment to help them save lives effectively and safely. RNLI lifeguards on more than 100 beaches must also be supplied with everything they need to do their jobs.
The demanding nature of these roles, and the environment in which these men and women work, mean kit wears out and needs to be replaced. By buying a virtual gift, you are directly helping the RNLI save lives at sea.
